9= Wolves 2

Their two wins came in the 1975/75 and 1979/80 seasons.

9= Norwich 2

The Canaries won the second competition and then again in 1984/85 but have not won it since.

9= Birmingham 2

9= Arsenal 2

The Gunners have been runners-up in this competition more times than any other team and have lost in the final six times.George Graham won the cup twice as manager in 1986/87 and 1992/93.

8. Leicester City 3

Their first came in 1963/64 and Martin ONeil won it twice in 1996/97 and 1999/2000.

6= Nottingham Forest 4

Spurs last won the League Cup in 2007/08 when Juande Ramos was in charge and it was the first final to be held at the new Wembley.Before that they won it in 1970/71, 1972/73 and 1998/99.

3= Aston Villa 5

The Midlands club have not added to their haul of five trophies this century with their last success coming in 1995/96 under Brian Little.Ron Atkinson won it in 1993/94 while Ron Saunders led them to the cup twice in 1974/75 and 1976/77. They also won the inaugural competition.

3= Chelsea 5

Uniteds first win was not until 1991/92 with Sir Alex Ferguson at the helm. Fergie went on to win it three more times in 2005/06, 2008/09 and 2009/10.Mourinho also picked up his fourth, and the Red Devils fifth, in 2016/17.
